From 2022-2024 the Bradford Sound Women Network met the first Saturday of the month in Bradford City Centre. Beginners with no experience but an interest in crafting different are especially welcomed. Supported by Fuse Art Space, during our first six months we were able to develop under the Yorkshire Sound Women Network’s Permission to Play scheme funded through the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, providing mentoring and financial support for materials and workshops. During 2023 we were successful in securing further funding from Bradford Council’s Small Grants, and Bradford Producing Hub’s Spare Bob to run a project exploring Bradford’s sonic heritage.
