The final session for Herrrd: Exploring Bradfords Sonic Heritage, we joined church organ player Dr Rebekah Okpoti at Bradford Cathedral for a masterclass in sound spatial design. We explored how we can interpret favourite images and paintings as graphic scores, and we learnt about the Cathedrals history with sound. Rebekah then showed us the stops and pistons on the Cathedrals organ. We were all able to have a turn, record or do some deep listening play with the resonance in the space.
