Aprils session was more R&D based after discussions on the need for basic pre-amps in both the microphone and radio workshops. We attempted to design and make our own simple pre-amps housed in Vaseline tins to boost the signal from our contact microphones. This was very much experimental and followed a mash-up of instructions from schematics and DIY videos sourced online to varying outcomes.
